STUFFED CABBAGE LEAVES „GOŁĄBKI”

Ingredients:

  • One Glass of boiled rice
  • One white cabbage
  • Two spoons of fat
  • Two large onions
  • Two cloves of garlic
  • Fifty five decagrams of minced, lean meat
  • Two eggs
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Oregano
  • Two teaspoonfuls of paprika
  • Fifty five decagrams of sauerkraut

For tomato sauce:

  • Half a glass of chicken stock
  • Half a glass of tomato puree
  • Two glasses of sour cream

Perparation:

Boil cabbage. Boil the rice and leave it to cool down. Try onion until golden/brown. Take the minced meat and add the rice, raw eggs, browned onion, garlic and spices: salt, pepper, oregano and paprika. Mix all ingredients well. Place the stuffing on white cabbage leaves and wrap. Put sauerkraut in the bottom of pot, next place “Gołąbki” pleis on the sauerkraut. Put everything to preheated oven. Bake under cover at temperature of one hundred eighty centigrades. “Gołąbki” are ready after ninety – one hundred twenty minutes.   You serve the dish with sour cream.
